It's a Girl!

It's estimated that there are as many as ten homeless mothers with newborn boys and girls on the streets of Atlanta every night. The Genesis Shelter gives these newborns and their families a safe place to live, healthy food and medical care, while the mother receives job training. For almost a decade, the Genesis Shelter has enabled hundreds of homeless families to remain together with their infants, while empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency. We will soon be moving to a new facility that will help us increase the number of families we can serve.
